Scholarships for New Students
New students taking their first course are eligible for our Sustainable Employer Match or Green Student Scholarships. Which is right for you? Here’s what you need to know:
The Sustainable Employer Match Scholarship is for students whose employers offer tuition-reimbursement opportunities. This scholarship covers the full cost of one Sustainable Management course (up to $1,170), when your employer pays for a second course.
What if your employer doesn’t offer tuition reimbursement? The Sustainable Management program can help. You can apply for our $500 Green Student Scholarship.
To learn more about the Sustainable Employer Match and Green Student Scholarships and how to apply, visit our scholarships page.
And for Continuing Students . . .
The Sustainable Management Academic Scholarship is for continuing students who have completed at least two courses in the Sustainable Management program and who carry a 3.0 GPA or higher. With the Sustainable Management Academic Scholarship, the more courses you’ve taken, the greater the reward! Award amounts include (based on number of courses completed at time of application):
- 2 to 5 courses: $250
- 6 to 10 courses: $500
- 11+ courses: $1,170 (equal to the cost of one full course)
This scholarship is available on an ongoing basis, so remember—you can apply for additional scholarships as you work through the program!
How do I apply?
UW Sustainable Management scholarships are designed to help as many eligible students as possible. Multiple scholarships of each type will be awarded, so don’t miss your chance!
Each student must submit an online application, including a 500-word personal essay. Applications are due on the first day of classes each semester. Students seeking any of the three scholarship opportunities are encouraged to contact Student Services for more information (608-262-2011 or firstname.lastname@example.org), and visit our scholarships page to submit applications.
