Tune in Thursday, Sept. 19 for the inaugural episode of Forward, Sustainably, a podcast focused on robust discussions about sustainability—brought to you by University of Wisconsin Sustainable Management.
In each episode, UW Sustainable Management program manager and podcast host, Amanda Goetsch, interviews sustainability leaders and explores the diverse ways sustainable initiatives touch virtually every part of our lives. Topics span from water conservation in the brewing industry to the role of the private sector in corporate social responsibility and beyond to health and wellbeing.
The Sept. 19 episode features Tom Eggert, founder of the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council, lecturer on sustainable business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business, and president of Wisconsin Microfinance. Eggert and Goetsch dig into innovative happenings in the sustainability industry and examine what they mean for businesses and other stakeholders. Later, they discuss the evolution of sustainability in the private sector and academia.
Forward, Sustainably will release one episode every other Thursday, starting Sept. 19 on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify.
