Urban Flooding in the Built Environment: Mitigation Through Green Infrastructure

Student Testimonial

I learned so much during my capstone project. It was a great experience to put all the knowledge that I gained through my classes to the test by picking a subject that is personal to me and researching the problem to find a possible solution.

My project tackles the issue of urban flooding due to climate change-induced increased rainfall. Due to flooding issues in my own backyard and around the Village where I live, I decided to install a rain garden to mitigate flooding.
